ABOUT LITTLE SISTERS OF THE GOLD ROSE
About Us
Little Sisters of the Gold Rose, sometimes shortened to Little Sisters or LSGR, is an inclusive, non-Greek service sorority at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Founded in 1992, Little Sisters of the Gold Rose has provided sisterhood and service to students involved in the organization. Our sorority has five pillars that guide everything we do:

rush
To invite women of common interests and ideals to become members of the Little Sisters of the Gold Rose.

advocacy
To provide a safe and socially-conscious environment fostering unity and mutual respect between the members of the organization and their community by way of promoting opportunities for advocacy through service.

service
To dedicate complete cooperation to the programs that are designed for the betterment of the community.

academic
To provide a productive environment for scholastic interaction between
the members of the organizations.

social
To provide a pleasant atmosphere for the opportunity to have social association with the members of the organization, as well as other organizations.
Our Commitment to Service
As a service-oriented sorority, Little Sisters of the Gold Rose is committed to giving back to the community at and around the University of Missouri-Columbia. Our organization strives to serve all residents of Columbia by volunteering, fundraising, and collecting goods for local organizations and nonprofits. Every single one of our active members are required to complete at least fifteen service hours each semester with one service event specifically targeting food insecurity.
